Mid-century walnut 9 drawer dresser by American of Martinsville. The old lacquer finish was removed revealing the blonde wood underneath. I dyed the wood just enough to tone down and even out the harsh yellow tones in the wood. Leaving the wood lighter helps accentuate the burled wood details on the doors and along the top of the dresser. The drawers have been cleaned and sealed. New hardware was added to compliment the warm tones of the wood.
