Revamped

This little mid-century bench was in distress. Using ebony stain on a majority of the maple bench not only covered up the red dye left behind in the wood but also allowed the wood grain the show through. The dark shade help highlight the mahogany details. I made a new shelf to replace the missing one, polished up the brass details on the lyre back and covered the seat with durable upholstery fabric.
