Roadside Rescue

The old lacquer finish was removed revealing the blonde wood underneath. I dyed the wood just enough to tone down and even out the harsh yellow tones in the wood. Leaving the wood lighter helps accentuate the burled wood details on the doors and along the top of the dresser. Many battle wounds were filled and blended. Most of the hardware was missing so new brass hardware was added to compliment the warm tones in the wood.
